McAfee in Dell Laptop

I have a vostro laptop that came with McAfee anti virus, but now I have a problem. I'm in a country that is in the interdict, therefore my McAfee doesn't update. I heard that McAfee Does not update our countries antiviruses, but I have it on my laptop so I have been paid for it. Does it have any solution? or I have to change my anti virus?
